Spring Fever Mini Scrapbook

Last year I attended a stamping event put together by one of my upline, Susan Gardner and another demo, Connie Tumm. One of the projects we made was an adorable mini scrapbook using the Country Club Simply Scrappin' kit.  I recreated the mini book using the Spring Fever Simply Scrappin' kit available in the Occasion Mini through April.  Here are photos of the book. All I need to do is add the photos and then embellish with the self-adhesive die cuts that come with the kit. I love the colors, Designer Series Paper and die cuts in this kit!

Advent Muffin Calendar Class

Birthday Money or Gift Certificate Holder

My daughter's girlfriend is having a birthday sleep over. So when I asked her mom for gift suggestions she said she like scrapbooking and crafts. I thought great right up my alley! I created this gift certificate holder and put in a certificate from Stampin' Up! for her. This way she can choose what she wants! I can't remember where I found this gift holder, it's been a couple of years.

Here are the basic instructions for making one:

Card stock: cut to 7 x 11, score at 2", 5", 8"

Crease your score lines.

Punch a 1/2 circle using the 1/4" circle punch.

Put sicky tape on the bottom flap as close to the edge as possible on both edges to create your pocket.

The gift certificate measures 2- 3/4" x 6" This will work well for cash or check too!

Birthday Card Bonanza!

Here is a card made using Stampin' Ups! "Best Ever" Simply Scrappin' Kit. I also used the frame, scallop oval Big Shot die. I love how these kits can be used for more than just scrapbook pages. This is a great kit, I love the colors and images. I had a lot of fun planning cards for this upcoming class. I'm also offering this as a "Class on the Go" kit. I'll have more info on that in the next few days for anyone who would like to order it!

Meandering About...

Here is a cute book I made for a friend at church who had her baby about a month ago. Yep, nothing like being late! I've been meaning to do this and when I saw Cami's book, it was the kick I needed. For step by step instructions for this book, click here. I thought it would be a cute way to display photos of her son and record info each month. I inserted two pull out tags in each pocket. The page size is 3 x 3" and the covers are 3-1/2" x 3-1/2"

Except notated, all supplies Stampin' Up!: Simply Scrapin' Kit Creative License [retired], Round Tab Punch, 1/4" Grosgrain Whisper White ribbon, 1/2" Pumpkin Pie Striped Grosgrain ribbon, staples, Night of Navy Stampin' Write Marker, card board for the covers. Bind It All I love this machine!!!!!! Scor-Pal so worth the money, it has saved me time when preparing for stamp camps!!!!!!!

Simply Scrappin' Stamp Camp Photos

Here are some pages we did at my last stamp camp. Each person made 20 pages from one of Stampin' Up's! Simply Scrappin Kit of their choice. They also used coordinating ribbons, brads and inks on their pages. Here 6 of the 20 6x6 pages we did. The pages shown use the "Out & About" kit. I'll post the remaining pages in the next few days.

Christmas Scrapbook Page

Here is a quick scrapbook page I demoed at a recent Stampin' Up! party. I had the guests make the 6x6 [see focal point on page] They also made the page elements: bottom pink strip, library card with tab, Christmas tree. Then I demoed how to take a 6x6 and make it into a 8.5 x 11 by adhering it along with the pink strip to the Bashful Blue card stock. From there I adhered that page to the Real Red card stock and adhered the other two elements. Not that much stamping was done to this, some snowflakes on the pink strip and the library card. The tree was traced from a stencil and decorated with the die cut adhesives. By using different punches we were able to add more deatails to the page.

The Simply Scrappin' Kits are great. They come with 2 each of 4 colors 12x12 sheets of textured card stock, 3 sheets each of 12x12 double sided paper & 2 each of 3 designs of 6x12 self-adhesive die cuts.
