No Brown Bag Here!

A few weeks ago my stampin' demo sisters and I got together for our holiday party. We meet at a restaurant and have a gift exchange.  This year we decided to try something new and make the gift exchange a decorated bag.  Normally our gifts are anything but a card and stampin' related and we all go over the top to WOW each other. Then there's stealing involved, eyes poked out and broken bones. OK, I'm exaggerating on the eyes and bones part.  Anyway, we decided to keep it simple this year...

Here is the bag I made to exchange. I made it out of 2 pieces of 12x12 paper. I got the idea from Jackie Bolhuis. I created a shaker on the front for decoration.

Here is the bag I received. Dee Tolkasen made it and it's super fabulous!  I love the gold and sparkle to this bag and it even has sewing on there.  The pocket hanging on the front is made from 2 banners from the Bulid A Banner kit.

Christmas is right around the corner. I still have a few things left to do to get ready! Thanks for stopping by!

Sweet Sorbet

I love the new DSP, Sweet Sorbet that will be available for FREE with your $50 purchase Jan 28 from the Sale-A-Bration brochure! It works great with the Watercolor Wonder gold washi tape.

This is one of the cards we will be making at my monthly card class. Check out my schedule for upcoming classes via my website, www.barbarapstamps.stampinup.net

Six-Sided Sampler

I love the Six-Sided Sampler stamp set even more because we have a coordinating punch! I cased this card from Margaret Raburn from Pintrest. She used washi tape but I used the I Am Me designer series paper. I love this paper too!

Thanks for stopping by.

Think Spring

Lots of Spring goodies on this card. We made this at my Sale-A-Bration class along with the card posted here.

It's hard to pick a favorite product from the Spring catalog!  I love everything on this card. This Honeycomb texture embossing folder is fabulous! What about the vanilla flower trim, pretty pretty pretty! I also used the designer builder brads and the stamp set is Collage Curios

Summer Scrapbook Pages

Here is a double layout I created for a scrapbook class.  The squares are punched out of the Summer Smooches DSP with the Postage Stamp punch .  The flowers are quick and easy to make with layering circle punches and roughing up the edges. Then add an embellishment! To get a closer look, click on the photos.

Perfectly Preserved

Here is one of the cards we did at my August and September Card Buffet.  So cute and fun! I paired it up with our Orchard Harvest DSP available in the Holiday catalog.

One of the great things about the Perfectly Preserved stamp set is that it has framelits to go with the stamp set so you don't have to cut the shapes out by hand, whoo hooo!  Another great thing is you save 15% when you purchase the stamp set and framelits as a bundle, item# 129943 wood, #129944 clear. Don't wait to long to get your hands on this set as it's only available in the Holiday catalog until Jan 2, 2013!

Falling Harvest

I'm more of a summer girl, however, I do love the changing colors on the trees and the crisp air during the Fall. After that the snow and cold is not something I look forward to!

Yep another Perfectly Preserved card also featuring the Cannery Set.  If you purchase them as a bundle you will save 15%! [choose wood or clear mount]

I used more of the Old Harvest DSP and the Early Espresso Core'dinations card stock. The Window framelits die was paper pierced, so simple when using the festive paper piercing pack.
