Six-Sided Sampler

I love the Six-Sided Sampler stamp set even more because we have a coordinating punch! I cased this card from Margaret Raburn from Pintrest. She used washi tape but I used the I Am Me designer series paper. I love this paper too!

Vintage Verses

The Vintage Verses stamp set is FREE with your $50 order during Sale-A-Bration. This simple pretty card uses the paper doilies from the Spring catalog. I love the stamped image on the doilies.  I added a couple of butterflies and twine for an embellishment. The new Bitty Butterfly is perfect to overlay on the elegant Butterfly punch. Both of these punches coordinate with the Paillon Potpourri stamp set!

Giddy Up!

My twin nieces, Elena and Estelle, recently celebrated their 3rd birthday! I started a scrapbook for their mom to add a photo each year. The girls love horses so here is what I came up with for the page.  The horse is put together with punches. I saw it on pinterest.

"Stay...

Is a charming word in a friends vocabulary."

I love the stamp set Tea Shoppe. Is so pretty, I love how the cup looks etched. This was a card available to make at my card buffet. Simple but elegant. I added punched butterflies stamped with the flower image part of the set.  Pearls add a nice elegance to the butterflies. The quote is stamped on velum that I cut into a banner shape. Cup and butterflies are popped up with dimensionals.

Thing One & Two and Sesame Street Scrapbook Layouts

Today I have not one but two traditional scrapbook pages to show you.  These are very special pages for me because I made them for my sweet twin great nieces Elena and Estelle, AKA E&E!

They just turned two and their party theme was Sesame Street.  So I thought it would be fun to do a scrapbook layout for them.  That meant that I would need to do a 1st birthday layout too!  I made the Sesame Street characters with different Stampin' Up! punches.  I got the ideas from several other demonstrators on Stampin' Connection.  My niece, Candi, just needs to add the photos!

Here are my sweet twin nieces!

Estelle is Elmo and Elena is Cookie Monster. My niece bought these dresses on Etsy.

I made them each an Elmo card too!

For this layout I was inspired by the invite my niece sent out.  The punch art was inspired by Ellen Kemper

It was a lot of fun to make these but working with the little pieces gave me a pain in my neck and shoulders. If I didn't procrastinate, I could have spread out working on these pages.  Here's a tip when working with little pieces, put a little dab of glue on the back of the piece you want to attach and pick up with a tooth pic to put in place.

I wonder what next year theme will be!

Wish Big

Here is another card that was on the Card Buffet menu in September. It's a pocket card. You pull on the tab to remove the inside card to write your note. How fun is that!  I love the Petite Pennants Builder Punch.  Combine it with our Pennant Parade stamp set to create quick and easy banners for your cards, scrapbook pages and more!

This uses the new pennant punch, pennant parade and word play stamp sets.  I also used the Just Add Cake Designer Series Paper.

Cupcake Card

This is a card we created at a previous stamp camp.  It uses the cupcake punch, soooo cute!  I cased this card from someone I saw on Stampin' Connection [online community for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators] I can't remember who it was.  The awning was made using the word window punch.

Very fun and cute card!

Happy Birthday!

The more I use MDS the more I {heart} it!  I created the top layer of this card in MDS. Then I copied it 3 times which gave me 4 images to a page.  I had them printed through Stampin' Ups! printers.  If you're in a pinch you can print them off of your home printer.

I then cut it up in fours attached one of our fabulous fabric brads, added a stamped birthday hat & sentiment layered with the label punch. Adhered it to Whisper White cs and then Melon Mambo cs as my base. There you have it a hybrid birthday card!

Have a great day!

Love Card

I made this card for my friend's daughter's wedding shower.  I used Baja Breeze, Ridinghood Red, and rubbed Ridinghood Red on our Presto Patterns DSP.  I love these colors together and got the combo off of our color coach. The colored the "Love" with a basic black marker from Things I Love stamp set and stamped flowers in versamark ink using the Vintage Vogue stamp set. The bird is from Punch Potpourri. Added some pearls and ribbon and there you have it.  I think the card is much better in person than the picture.

Hope you get to create something fun today!

Inspired by a walk

Hi Stampers!

The card I'm showing today is a card I made for a swap with a group of several talented Stampin' Up! demonstrators, that I belong to.  Inspiration is everywhere.  My husband and I go walking together as much as we can when it fits with our schedules.  As we were walking through a near suburb I kept seeing so many beautiful hydrangea bushes as well as a beautiful Victorian home with this color combination...then that is when inspiration struck me.  I realized I have not used my new hostess stamp set, "Because I Care" and I loved the simple elegant color combo from the home I walked by.  So, out of that walk not only did I have a great time spending time with my husband, I also got inspired for this card.  I hope you like it as much as I do!

Supplies: Stamps: Because I Care, CS: Sahara Sand, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Ink: Crumb Cake, Accessories: Eyelet Boarder punch, Scallop Oval XL punch, Oval Large punch, Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder with the Big Shot.

Under The Stars

I needed a quick thank you card for our youth director at church to send to the camp he took our High School group to this summer.  I finally got this stamp set and have seen so many cute cards and projects with it. My demo friend Dee used this set for a birthday card we made for a demo shoebox and that was what made me decide to get the set!

Being that it was quick, I really like how the card turned out except I had to write the word "thanks" and I don't like it that much but didn't have little stamps to fit into the banners. I made the banners by cutting off the points of the large star punch. I read this somewhere on a blog post that this was shown at convention. Seemed kind of small to me at first but it works for that size card.

Leave a comment and let me know what you think!

Got Punch?

Here is one of the cards we will be making at my upcoming punch class. It is a flower rosette made from the eyelet boarder punch. How clever is that?  We will also use some of our Presto Patterns DSP. It is such beautiful paper.
